Fixture Calibration




Step 1: Measure connector delay

  1. Solder disk to end of connector
  2. Load Female Arbitrary Calibration Settings
    SDR-Kit BNC Calibration Kit
  3. S11 OSL calibration using Female Calibration Devices
  4. Measure Connector
  5. Adjust Port Extension for flat S11 ImagZ and S11 Phase
  6. Multiply result by two, 41ps * 2 = 82ps.

Step 2: Load and modify Male Calibration Settings

  1. Load Male Arbitrary Calibration Settings
    SDR-Kit BNC Calibration Kit
  2. Add -82ps to OPEN SHORT LOAD Delay values
  3. Set THRU Transmission Delay value to zero

Step 3: Fixture S11 OSL Calibration

  1. Connect Fixture to Port 1
  2. OSL Calibration with Cal devices on Port 2 side of fixture

Step 5: Check Calibration

  1. 12-term correction measurement using F2 Key

  2. Example, evaluate -77ps
