Some Observations
- Receive current with default settings is 0.55 A.
- Receive current with lights off after "light timer" setting timeout is 0.33 A
- Transmit current with lights off and 10 watts output is 2 A.
- Adjusted the Driver Bias from 0.6V to the specified
0.5V. The Driver Bias out of specification is very common on the first
production units
and may be the cause of the reported driver FET failures. See Icom IC-703 Driver
